James Walls, MBA is a mortgage loan officer and partner with Secured Funding Corporation in Baltimore, Maryland. He helps home buyers and homeowners navigate home purchase financing, mortgage refinancing, and loan options designed to fit their individual financial goals.

James believes there is nothing more empowering than earning, saving, and preparing to purchase a new home. That belief led him to a career in mortgage lending, where he can work one-on-one with clients and help make homeownership a reality. After completing his graduate studies, James began his career with large financial institutions, where he developed his experience within some of the industry's most established organizations.

As his career progressed, James recognized the advantages of working as a mortgage broker rather than being limited to the products of a single large bank. In the spring of 2015, he joined Secured Funding Corporation, and in 2019 he became a partner.

Working as a mortgage broker gives James access to multiple competing lenders and a broader range of mortgage products. Instead of representing one specific lender, he can focus on helping his clients evaluate financing options based on their needs.
